TOPIC:
Latvian universities are experiencing substantial changes and disruption: some long-awaited like the governance reform, some unexpected like COVID. Their capacity to adapt to the new reality will be key for their sustainability and, more importantly, for creating new opportunities for their students and for Latvia.
Claudio A. Rivera will present some reflections about this exciting context. Some of the topics to cover:

DISCUSSION LEADERS:
MBA, Ph.D. Claudio A. Rivera – RTU Riga Business School Associate Professor in Leadership and Director of the RBS Bachelor Programs (established in cooperation with the University of New York at Buffalo and BI Norwegian Business School). He is also the Lead of the Foreign Investors Council Education Work Group and hold several board positions. Claudio grew up in Argentina but has been based in Latvia since 2004.
Claudio has a long track of experience in teaching, public speaking, consulting and research. He has also successfully founded several educational ventures as GoBeyond and Agenskalns Student Hall. As a professor, Claudio has been teaching in several countries in Europe, Latin America and Africa. He has published extensively, including five books as author and co-author.
His main areas of interests are youth development, social entrepreneurship, servant leadership and poverty alleviation through management education.
