IV International Business Forum in Daugavpils

In June 2^nd, 2016 Daugavpils City Council in cooperation with Investment and Development Agency of Latvia will organize one of the most important events of the year in Daugavpils – the IV International East Baltic Business Forum. The main goal of the Forum is enhancing of international business contacts and promotion of entrepreneurial opportunities in Daugavpils and Latgale region.

The main topic of the Forum is to underline the economic meaning of Latgale region in attraction of investment and the development of Latgale Special Economic Zones. There are metalworking, woodworking and textile industry in the forum’s focus.

During the B2B business contact market entrepreneurs can be inspired by the best examples of the

Entrepreneurial sustainability, to found cooperation networks and gain potential business-partners for common projects.

At the end of the day, participants of the Forum will be able to enjoy the event “Art Night” in

Daugavpils Fortress, to take part in the events of Daugavpils City Festivity, to visit Daugavpils tourism objects and to become acquainted with rich cultural heritage of Daugavpils.

In 2014 in Daugavpils took place the III International East Baltic Business Forum, which gathered more than 400 participants from 10 countries, in the business contact market participated 170 companies. The largest delegations were from Poland, Belarus, Russia, Lithuania, Moldova and Latvia.

This year Forum participants are awaited from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Belarus, Russia, Moldova, Lithuania.
