Joint Chamber Business Luncheon

On the 14th of December Irish Latvian Chamber of Commerce together with the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia organised the Business Lunch with the Mayor of Riga – Nils Ušakovs. The designed topic was about Riga city and infrastructure projects. 40 people from the Diplomatic Corp, foreign investors, Latvian businesses had expressed their interest in the topic.

Unfortunately, one hour before we found out that Mr. N. Ušakovs would not attend the Luncheon due to his busy schedule.

Despite that, our guests, including H.E. Seamus Mac Aonghusa, Ambassador of Ireland in Latvia, stayed and enjoyed the wonderful lunch menu provided by Radisson Blu Ridzene Hotel. Before the meal each guest introduced themselves and that created a real atmosphere of networking during the lunch and afterwards. Once again it showed that the food and friendly people around can conjure up a wonderful atmosphere in the middle of a working week.

ILCC would like to thank the members and guests for the attendance and understanding the unexpected situation. The atmosphere was really pleasant.
