Preparation for Travel Trade Fair Balttour 2017 is underway

The Travel Trade Fair “Balttour 2017” offering information on the newest recreation opportunities and travel deals in 40 countries and Latvia will take place at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre in early February, from 3–5 February. Tourism companies report a high interest in participating the fair – more than 60% of the exhibition space has already been booked!

The hall introducing different tourist destinations around the world is rapidly filling up. Germany, Israel, Croatia, Hungary, Russia, Georgia, Vietnam … these are only few countries that have already confirmed their participation in “Balttour 2017”. Quite a lot tourism companies will represent our neighbouring countries – Lithuania and Estonia. Slovak entrepreneurs report a great interest; moreover, after a gap of several years, Armenia, Egypt and Dubai will be among the participating countries. The Discover the World! hall provides an opportunity to explore variety of exotic destinations like Thailand, Taiwan, Spain and Italy, and, of course, Turkey, one of the most favourite travel destinations!

“Balttour” starts up a new travel season kicking in the travel deal sales for spring and summer. Most of Latvian tour operators and travel agencies, which have proven themselves trustworthy and reliable helpers for travellers, have already applied for participation. Alida Tūrs, Begonija, Estravel Latvia, Jēkaba ceļojumi, Mouzenidis Travel, Tez Tour… these are just some of participants that are already actively working to offer visitors the best-priced vacation deals.
All regions of Latvia in one place
“Balttour 2017” will also present vast and varied travel and sightseeing opportunities in Latvia. In the Travel Latvia! Hall, all regions will present the newest walking, cycling, boating and driving routes. The fair will give a wide range of choices. Hotels, guesthouses and spa centres are preparing special discounts for visitors. Manufacturers of local specialties, artisans are getting ready for the fair, singers and dancers are staging new performances to be included in the events programme.

Although most of the “Balttour 2017” exhibition space has already been booked out, companies still can apply for participation in the Baltics’ largest travel trade fair. The dates of the Balttour forum for professionals changed!
For Latvian tourism professionals who attend both the forum and the fair, we decided to change the dates of the traditional tourism industry forum. The Balttour 2017 Forum will be held two days before the event – Wednesday, February 1! The venue remains the same – the Conference Centre Citadele.
