In spring season Irish Latvian Chamber of Commerce will resume its monthly networking evenings – this season the topic is going to be about those countries where the biggest Irish diaspora abroad lives. We will begin with Australia on the 29th of March.
We will have an opportunity to enjoy the first warm days a wonderful venue just on the banks of the river Daugava – Riga Sunset Lounge. An Australian who has been living in Latvia for five years and has Irish roots –Phil Kerr will create a true Australian atmosphere.
During the evening networkers will be able to taste Australian food and wine.
Menu:
Rump of Australian lamb served with red wine poached cranberries and a polenta biscuit.
Kangaroo meat pate coated with black currants served on rye biscuit.
BBQ pork croquettes coated with herbed breadcrumbs served in spicy cheese basket.
Tiger-prawns stewed in white wine and fine herb broth served with preserved lemon cream.
Coffee liqueur salmon gravlax on light bread with caper cream and marinated shallots
Blueberry Pavlova with fresh strawberries and coffee chantilly cream
Caramel pudding with almonds in a glaze of dark chocolate.
