You are invited to join our monthly friendly and informal networking and discussion evenings –
101 CONTACTS
We will start the season of 2017/2018 with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Today, millions of residents of Great Britain are either from Ireland or have Irish ancestry. It is estimated that as many as six million people living in the UK have at least one Irish grandparent (around 10% of the UK population) / Source:Wikipedia/
The guest speaker will be Mr Sean O`Donnell who grew up within the Irish diaspora in Great Britain where most of his education and early working career took place. He has worked extensively in the education and non profit sector, and for the last fifteen years has worked in Central and Eastern Europe. He will give a brief overview of the Irish in Britain, their contribution to society and explore possible links and connections with the Irish in Britain for ILCC members and those attending 101 Contacts.
101 CONTACTS series offers a forum for ILCC members to make new contacts and broaden their professional networks in an informal setting. We encourage members to make new contacts and to introduce their existing networks to Chamber members.
The goal of each event is for attendees to leave with at least 3 new professional connections.
Bring yourself (and a colleague), a positive outlook and your business cards. There will be a drink on arrival for guests and lots of opportunity!
