You are cordially invited to the Joint Chamber Business Luncheon with Ieva Jaunzeme, Director General of the State Revenue Service, organized by the British, Irish, Swedish and Swiss Chambers of Commerce on the 1st of April at the Astor Riga Hotel.
The theme of the luncheon is “Combatting Shadow Economy – What are the Real Priorities of the State Revenue Service?’’.
So far, Ieva Jaunzeme has worked at the Ministry of Economics, holding the position of Head of Administration, but previously a State Secretary at the Ministry of Welfare. Likewise, the current SRS Director General has been in charge of the Competition Council for six years, before being an advisor to the Permanent Representation of Latvia to the European Union.
For four years Ieva Jaunzeme ha been the general director of the largest Latvian employers ‘organization – Employers’ Confederation of Latvia. Ieva Jaunzeme has a Master’s degree in business management and also a diploma of an economist from the Faculty of Economics, which, with the decision of the Academic Information Center, is equated with a professional master’s degree. She manages two foreign languages – English and Russian – and has mastered German and French at the level of basic knowledge.
