The event is organised by Irish Latvian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with British Chamber of Commerce in Latvia and Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Latvia.

During her career, Ms. Kaktiņa, has served in various capacities, among them:
Director of the Legal Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2018-2020); Deputy Director of the Legal Department and Head of the International Law Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2014-2018); Head of the International Law Division (2013-2014); Second Secretary, Permanent Mission to the United Nations, New York (2011-2013); Desk Officer, Third Secretary, Deputy Head of Division, International Law Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2004-2011); and Desk Officer, Foreign Minister’s Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2003-2004).
Ms. Kaktiņa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Latvian-Spanish Intercultural Relations from the Latvian Academy of Culture and a professional degree in Legal Studies from the University of Latvia. She holds a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M. Dist.) from Georgetown University Law Centre.
