Job Shadow Day is a world-known and recognized by Junior Achievement career education program 1 to 12th grade students, during which students visit a workplace and 4-6 hours watching interest profession professional lives. Latvian Shadow Day is the business education association Junior Achievement – Young Enterprise Latvia (JA-YE Latvia) registered trademark.
Job Shadow Day is to introduce students to a variety of occupational and sectoral requirements in order to help young people to choose a profession and properly prepare for the labor market.
This is a program that for many years successfully be included in the educational process of career issues, encouraging young people to plan their future at school. Building partnerships between the school, community and work environment, Shadow Day promotes young people’s integration into society and the labor market in the future.
