This is a unique opportunity to have our Afternoon Networking & Refreshment Break at LAIMA Chocolate Museum being opened since December last year, Since the very first days it has become extremely popular and one shall book the visit well in advance to get there.

The legend of Latvian chocolate Laima keeps a lot of evidences of time, of people and love. And we would like to share this precious evidences with you!

Together with cocoa beans we will travel from distant Gulf of Guinea in Africa to Riga, we will admire the magic of chocolate and will see the witnesses of antiquity who will tell us about the very beginning of the incredible way of chocolate to Latvia.

To the historical place, to the corner of Miera and Palidzibas Streets, will be  returned the beloved by many generations of Riga citizens sweets’ shop and cafe. The building of the museum is a historical witness of the life of national manufacturer of sweets Laima. The building itself, that is considered to be the industrial heritage, was constructed in 1939 by Stanislav Aloizs Borbal.

On the pages of the story of life of Laima are recorded the names of masters, employees, unique products and global achievements. This story of Laima  refers to everyone, who admires chocolate.
