Balttour 2015
The biggest travel trade show in the Baltics ”Balttour 2015” took place February 6 – 8, 2015. It was a great opportunity to represent Ireland as a holiday destination. Our Executive member Matthews Tours and the Corporate member RIA Tours worked hand in hand on the stand.
With Irish music, dancing and traditional whiskey tasting on our stand the public were treated to a little piece of Ireland in Latvia. The response from tour operators was very encouraging and the public enjoyed.
The stand was officially opened by the Irish Ambassador Mr Aidan Kirwan who in his speech stressed that Ireland is not only the place where to work it is also the place with a beautiful scenery, culture and traditions.
