Balttour 2016
“Balttour 2016” gathered more than 26 thousand travelling enthusiasts and tourism professionals.
On 7 February the 23rd International Travel Trade Fair “Balttour 2016” came to an end in Ķīpsala, this year gathering 850 tourism companies and their representatives from 41 countries. More than 26 thousand people came to get acquainted with the newest and best offers, with 5.3 thousand of them being professionals of the tourism industry and invited guests.
During the three days the visitors of the trade fair had a great opportunity to get to know the diverse tourism offers provided by 41 different countries, including new and already popular destinations and tourism routes, to feel the diversity of the world’s cultures and the hospitality of Latvian regions, as well as purchase close and far-away trips – including here in Latvia – for very good prices!
We thank all of the participants, partners and visitors of “Balttour 2016”! Together we managed to turn the Ķīpsala International Exhibition Centre into the epicentre of the Baltic tourism industry for three whole days!
