Irish Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Dundalk Chamber of Commerce Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

On the 17th of October during the trip to Ireland  Irish Latvian Chamber of Commerce signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Dundalk Chamber of Commerce.

Dundalk has an extremely active Chamber of Commerce. Dundalk’s business network and business voice consist of 19 members representing all business sectors in the town. Such companies as PayPal, Vhi Healthcare, Four Seasons have allocated their businesses in Dundalk.

This agreement between the two parties will focus on the potential for mutual cooperation regarding the efficient and open cooperation promoting business, culture, sports and Latvian Diasporas relationship formation between Ireland and Latvia.

Signed by ILCC Chief Executive Ilze Kreslina and the President of Dundalk Chamber Paddy Matthews, the Memorandum of Understanding aims to encourage further development of optimal cooperation between Latvia and Ireland.

The MoU includes the following resolutions:

• Efficient cooperation in the fields of trade, investment and technology transfer
• Jointly organised seminars, conferences and training programs
• Efficient cooperation in mutual business and social activities
• Efficient cooperation in the participation to fairs and exhibitions. Industry & trade missions and exchanges between the two countries will be organised.
