Meeting with the Latvian Business Club in Ireland
On 21 October, at the Latvian Ambassador’s residence in Dublin, Ireland, the embassy and Irish Latvian Chamber of Commerce (ILCC) organised a meeting with Latvian entrepreneurs in Ireland, associations and community representatives. This time ILCC Ilze Krēsliņa has brought to Ireland Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA), tourism agency RIA Tours and Business Consultants.
Ilze Krēsliņa told the audience about the chambers work done since the last meeting in Dublin this spring, as well as informed about upcoming plans for the future. An interesting collaboration has been established between the ILCC and Cesis District Council.
RISEBA Department of Business and Distance Learning Center of Dr. paed., assoc. prof. Gundega Lapina presented the learning opportunities at the school. Distance learning as a form of learning is becoming increasingly popular and RISEBA offers such possibilities.
Latvian tourism agency RIA Tours Office Manager Aija Kļaviņa informed the audience about the beginning of the cooperation with the Irish tourism companies Matthews Tours and partners organided familiarisation tour to Ireland. She spoke to the audience, inviting all who live here to become a fellow agent RIA Tours in Ireland.
Business consultant Andris Urbāns presented his business practices, Latvian organizing various seminars, advising entrepreneurs, especially in matters of company reorganization. Business advice based on astrology, psychology and knowledge to clients during the provision of information on psychological compatibility with potential business partners or customers. The company has developed a concept of development, analysed the capabilities of workers.
