Season Opening Dinner ”Riga on the River”

On the 30th of August 2016 in an outstanding place of Riga, on the river Daugava, in the restaurant ”Kliversala” Irish Latvian Chamber of Commerce started its 5th Season. Not in vain had the place been chosen. Kliversala is our new Corporate Gold member.

The guests were welcome by a wonderful musician – Girts Pavenis, guitar player, who played the whole night. Unfortunately the weather was not good to sit outside on the terrace thus we enjoyed the view of the Old Riga through the window.

As the 1st of September is the first school day in Latvia ILCC decided to support children whose parents have low income to help them to prepare for the school. All in all the total donation was 120 EUR donated to the Charity association ”Labdaribas lapa”. The supporters of the gifts for the donators were our members: LAIMA, ESTRA, Hotel Radisson Blu Elizabete, Hotel Avalon, Lursoft, KLiversala, Latvia Tours and non-member Betolli.
