‘Balttour” – the biggest travel tradeshow in the Baltics annually opening the new tourist season!
The 23rd International Travel Trade Fair “Balttour 2016” takes place from 5-7 February at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre.
“Balttour 2016” will offer more than 470 exhibition stands and about 850 travel and tourism related companies from 40 countries across the world. The three-day event will give visitors an opportunity to get information on new travel routes and tourist destinations, enjoy cultural diversity, find the best travel deals and enjoy the hospitality of Latvia’s regions!
Welcome to Ireland stand!
Embassy of Ireland launches star of traditional Irish music at the Ireland stand (No I22) at 12:30p.m. on Friday , 5 February. Renowned Irish singer and composer Madelene Grant-Nelson with acclaimed Irish Uilleann piper Alphie O’Maolagain and flautist Tomas O’Maolagain will be performing at the Irish stand to celebrate the success of the Balttour 2016. These famous Irish musicians will be performing with Latvian musicians and dancers over the weekend.
The Embassy will be covering Irish participation in the Balttour 2016 exhibition on its Facebook and Twitter accounts.
This presentation of Irish music is presented in cooperation with the Irish Latvian Chamber of Commerce.
